What you can expect...

I love weddings and would love to provide you with gorgeous, romantic, and timeless images of your wedding day. My friendly, fun, and creative style has suited many couples over the years. The photos I capture, whether candid or set up, reflect my easy-going attitude to contribute to the flow of your wedding. I am not an obtrusive photographer, I aim to enhance your day with beautiful imagery.

I have been lucky enough to work and be a recommended supplier at many fantastic venues including The Orangery, The Gardens, Winters Barns, Eastwell Manor, The Old Kent Barn, The Barn Yard, Canterbury Cathedral Lodge, Westenhanger Castle, The Oak Grove and London Golf Club.

Wow. What an amazing photographer. From the start of the day right through to the evening, David was fun but professional and despite having a list of the photos we wanted, he captured so much more. He was great at being thrown into the deep end. All of our guests have also commented on how professional, fun and discrete David was throughout the day. You hardly knew he was there. Prior to the planning of the wedding photography, David was great at keeping in touch and really thorough in our face to face meeting when asking about our family and the types of photos we wanted captured from the day. The edited photos are truly remarkable, making it a difficult decision for us to choose from! We chose David as our photographer after browsing and speaking with a few different ones because of his portfolio, especially his absolutely stunning night photos. We definitely made the right decision, David has been super friendly and lovely throughout and on the day he got himself in very odd positions to take the most beautiful of photos 😂 all our photos we received on a USB stick in optimal quality and they were perfect to relive our day, couldn't fault any of the photos at all. We are now picking 60 for our photo book and it is a difficult process as they are all so gorgeous 😍 Overall, if you are considering David for your wedding photographer, consider no more and book him now! You will not regret it one bit.

The photos speak for themselves! David's photos have given us some perfectly captured memories from our wedding day. From getting ready to the party, David worked tirelessly to capture everything on our special day. His energy and enthusiasm, particularly when the groups shots were piling up (!!), was great. To receive over 600 edited photos only a couple of days after wedding was very impressive too!

As a venue it is so important to work with suppliers that you can fully rely on but who also go above and beyond to exceed expectations. They become an extension of your team and their actions affect your reputation, this is why we have a very strict selective process that we follow when recommending suppliers. We have worked with David King now for many years and his approach is, without exception, professional and of the highest standard. As well as being an extremely talented photographer, with David we know that our clients are in safe hands throughout the whole process. Wedding photographers are such a big part of the day, you really need to build a special relationship with them in order to get the best results. David is brilliant at putting people at ease and making sure that all of those vital images are captured in an unobtrusive and feel good way and that is why I would recommend David to anyone without hesitation.

David was absolutely brilliant! My husband does not like to smile in pictures, but Dave was great at making us and the rest of our guests feel at ease in front of the camera. It was a really nice, fun part of the day taking our pictures, rather than the long, boring slog I had expected. We had some bad weather, but Dave was able to work around it and still get us some fantastic pictures. He was very happy, energetic, and genuinely seemed to be having a good time while working, which made everything feel even more natural and easy. All our guests commented on how funny and professional he was.

We honestly couldn't recommend our photographer highly enough. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly personable, friendly and funny, and he genuinely added to the enjoyment of our wedding day rather than just being there to photograph it. Neither of us are particularly big "photo people" and we were very clear that we didn't want our wedding to feel like a Vogue photoshoot or spend half the day posing for pictures. He completely understood that and struck the perfect balance. He gently encouraged us to take a few more photos together than we'd originally planned, and we're so glad he did because some of those have turned out to be our absolute favourites. He was brilliant with our guests too. He chatted and joked with everyone, got people where they needed to be without ever being bossy or intrusive, and somehow even managed to charm my notoriously difficult auntie — which probably deserves five stars on its own! 😂 We received our finished photos within three weeks and sitting down to look through them was genuinely like reliving the wedding all over again. He didn't just capture how the day looked; he captured how it felt — the atmosphere, the laughter, the people and all those little moments we didn't even realise were happening. Looking back through them reminded us just how incredible the day was, and we're so grateful to have those memories captured forever. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish and we'd recommend him without hesitation. Thank you for being such a big part of our day!
